My Hubby is a negotiator, when I say this I mean nothing has a set price in his mind. I have over the years watched him, at first I thought it was a fluke. That I could be as good at it as he is, that fact has been proved wrong time and time again. The reason I have beautiful jewelry, and some pieces that are quite beautiful furniture is because Hubby can smell a deal. Granted you take the good with the bad, to be as good as he is at negotiating he seems to buy so many things I truly dislike. Sometimes he really scores! I am a grill maven, I believe in The Great State of Texas heat you need an oven free environment. I use the crock-pot and the grill like others use a burner. I will do anything to avoid a hot kitchen. My wish list for three years has been a grill with an extra burner! A place I could steam veggies, while grilling a steak. I am very pleased to say that my dream grill has arrived! Better yet, it was put together already. We have to skip that part where I read the directions, Hubby skips ahead, we end up with extra parts and the kids wonder if their toy would work better if Mommy had put it together by herself. Oh yes the kids and I hate that process. We have a grill baby! I am going to grill supper tomorrow night for sure, I will go and buy some veggies that need steaming. There is still room for my grilled veggie basket as well. Nothing better than a grilled veggie, maybe we will eat potatoes? They have not been on our eating list in such a long time!
I can hardly wait, so far it is has been placed in a place of grill honor ready and waiting to be fired up, for all the times I have been frustrated with the odd things finding their way home I am so happy to welcome the new grill. Yes, he got a bargain. He had to; we have been looking for over three years. We had replaced more than a few parts in the old one.
Not to worry I will recycle the old one, I have a metal recycler I go to. Our old grill had to be almost eight years old, I am not a disposable grill owner.
Just in case you are new reader, I will go over my plans for the weekend. I have chosen some special videos to post, weekend is catch up time. If you have no time to read, watch a video and laugh or be entertained. If you are longing to read, I got months of entries meander on back a ways. The first videos will go up tomorrow and then some on Sunday as well. I know I have three in the bank, but I would anticipate having six or more total.

3 spoke out:
Have great weekend Kathy.
so what did you grill?
sus
Fida sorry I never posted, I hope you had a great weekend.
Susan I made what we call gourmet burgers. I grill onions and potatoes with a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper in my veggie basket. Then we sauteed mushrooms on the burner, and I made homemade burgers, with ranch dip mix in them. Then you serve the burgers with grated cheese and mushrooms with the side of potatoes and onions. My kids lap it up! Very good flavor on this grill too!
