Finally I agree with a Democrat!

I have a different take on life I admit it. Every day I try my best to use common sense. I realize how fortunate we are to live in a country that is free. That freedom is afforded to us by the backs of the military and their families. Let’s get realistic, it is the brave men and women that defend my right to be politically un-correct. All I did was to be born in the Great State of Texas in America, in that order. To the military, I am eternally grateful. Mere words cannot express how much I am thankful every day. The only other thing I can do is to come out on an issue that no one is coming out and say the truth. Just as the VIP Countrywide Mortgages was not exposed, I believe FISA keeps our country safe. It is widely known that terrorists use cell phones for bombs and communication. Without FISA, we as a Nation hindered. Just put yourself in the military shoes, your kid is missing but because of some lame law to protect people who are not citizens you can not listen in to child predator find your child. That to me is insane. FISA in a weird way is our “sneak weapon” that is widely known. Just as criminals don’t give up guns when there is a gun ban, the terrorist have no code of honor to keep them from listening to our communication. They know where we are, isn’t it common sense we should use what is the best weapon to find them? If your son or daughter were being held hostage you would want to use any method to get the information to release them free from harm. That is where FISA reform bill comes in.

For the record as Greta would say I am for water boarding, only because it is done to non-citizens and it is highly effective. Any method that would help I am for but FISA isn’t even torture, FISA is what used to happen with CB radios years ago. FISA is listening when the military deem it necessary. FISA Reform is also bi-partisan, as badly as it hurts me even Chet Edwards is backing FISA. That’s how bipartisan it is, Chet and I agree on nothing except a few military issues. When I heard that the Democrat challenging John Cornyn by the name of Noriega (yeah I know I read it twice too) is against the FISA Reform I was stunned. How can you expect to win Texas when you are against protecting our service men and women? Thankfully, John Cornyn has urged the Senate to vote for the FISA reform Bill. I was thrilled to know John has not given up on the Military, and FISA will protect those in harm’s way.

If this hasn’t convinced you then read this New York Post. If you are not a resident of the Great State of Texas, I am truly sorry but urge your congressional representative and Senator today to be for the military intelligence we need. The last thing we need is ten hours figuring out what is legal for America to rescue the military!
