I am a Rebel

I am a rebel. I knew deep down I was but from time to time, I want to pretend I can jump on a wagon and play along. Alas, the reality in me always seems to jump off when I don’t like where the wagon is going. That is when I remember I am a rebel.

Entrecard is good for blogs, I tried it without Entrecard and it is much easier with it. That being said I am not a very good team player. I tend to break rules, want my need met first then help the team later. I have met many bloggers I truly enjoy from all sides of the isle, all lifestyles. It has been truly a lot of fun. It is that feeling that sent me to my next decision.

I signed up for digg, because I thought it would be good to be a team player. Then I had to add all these people. Trust me when I say if your first page has GWB and a monkey it is not a marriage made in heaven. I added them gritting my teeth. Then I had all these diggs, good gravy I mean the last time I looked I had fourteen pages of stories. I am not that interested in my own writing to read fourteen pages! Now if it were Jane Austen okay, but blog reading please! I am a member of digg, but I am not using it effectively and I know it. Digg and I are just not a good match, there is the friend idea, along with the shout that translates in my mind work! Now I am not saying that my conservative views don’t tick people off, I am sure they do! Great glad to hear it! Now you know how I feel! I have yet to even mention the Democratic candidate for President. He ain’t worth the bother right now.

Stumbleuponit is much more my style. I look at it I click a thumbs up or down. Simple straight forward, I only added people that don’t tick me off. Once they do, I delete them. I never see a GWB and a monkey, makes me happy to go there.

Which brings me to Sezwho not sure, I like matter of fact I find it a pain in the butt. Not sure why I even added it other to yet again be a stupid team player when I would rather shoot the idea down into a pond. Right now, I am debating whether to fiddle with it enough to use it on blogger or just ditch it as I have other things that I find pains. Oh, I know Blogger is awful, but still couldn’t Sezwho and Entrecard work out all the issues before joining up? Ahhh NO big Roger nope couldn’t do that. Which means I am stuck thinking about how I am not a team player to begin with, and how much I hate programs that don’t work.

Wish I could tell you what will happen, don’t have a clue. I know I can only take so much for so long before I go Rebel on it! Like Digg it may be down the creek looking for a captain. Sure doesn’t help that in order to post for tech support you have to join yet another board! What a pain that is, finally I did find a tech email but it is still not working right.

Stumble It!

I like Stumbleupon. I'm a very casual user but I find a lot of great material on it. In many ways, I like it more than Digg.
I do like Entrecard because I have come across some great blogs (like this one) that I doubt that I would have found on my own.
I don't know anything about Sezwho; need to look that one up.

Ok you are speaking a foreign language now, but I still like your attitude. For a long time, people had little to no choice, and they had to make do. Then choices began to abound, and it became this big race to educate yourself so you could make the best possible choices. And now everyone is so overwhelmed with goods and information that they're starting to say the hell with it, and get rid of everything... simplify... unclutter... go off the grid. So if "it's" not working for you in your blogosphere, whatever "it" is, off with its head.

VH,
yep I love stumbleuponit, and digg is just a pain. Sezwho is about to be ADIOS! Entrecard does do a great service of bonding like minds!

HEB,
It is a bloggy kinda thing, but I know you would love stumble, you weed out the liberals. Pretty fun actually, I found all kinds of conservatives there. Still looking for the conservative farm wives though we may be it~

Stumble i like, but seldom use, haven't tried Digg but it doesn't sound like my cup of tea. i told ya yesterday what i think of this new one so far. Another blogger...can't remember who, said that they weren't going to use it because they post about their life and all this new things does is give people the chance to rate his life. I sort of agree with that sentiment. I'm giving it a month though, we'll see.

Nessa,
I do get the feeling Sezwho is like big brother over my shoulder. I might look at haloscan for comments.

OK, you got me to go check out the Stumble thing. I like it. I tend to use the internet for very specific things, like investigating the Haines family murder, or buying sheets, or finding out the price of sterling silver, or getting a pattern to crochet a doll dress. But I am also interested in reading why littlebloginthebigwoods decided to live without a refrigerator, or why certain women decide to start wearing headcoverings, or well-thought out essays on guns or oil or motorcycle helmets.... so thanks for the Stumble thing.

I've only been using Sez-Who for a few days now, but I found that it adds a more personal touch to my blog, and allows me to get to know my readers better.

As for other social networking sites, I have to say the following:

Digg--I hate it. I could submit an article titled "The Earth Is Coming To An End Tomorrow" and only have it Dugg 3 times. Digg is like some kinda high school popularity contest.

Stumble--good for Alexa ratings, but the traffic is worthless otherwise

I really like EntreCard, mostly because of the friendly bloggers who are always willing to help a newbie.

And now my fingers are tired...LoL

I've never tried stumbleupon, but I don't do very well with Digg either. Like you said, it's too much work. I do try to check some of the stuff out each week, but I just can't keep up with people!

I am trying sezwho, but I had problems also. I think it still takes a few hours for my new post to get all the information from sezwho applied. So, anyone who reads it in that time frame can't vote I reckon. Don't know how much good it's going to do me, but I'm trying.

I like your blog. Good luck with it!

Angel Stumble upon it is so much easier than Digg, I just love it. Easy to install on any format as well.

I have removed sezwho, anything that is that much bother I don't want. Thanks for stopping by!!

I still hve sezwho installed. Someone has been downrating my post I think. Most of them are at 1.85 now and they were higher. Guess they don't like what I've been talking about..lol.

Angel I was afraid that would happen to me, after all I do love speaking my mind!
