I am stumbling every blog and entry I can find that has Nancy Pelosi common sense, I am feeling stronger with every stumble.
I want with every fiber of my being to be able to move on and not dwell in the pit of despair that Nancy and Harry have given me. But when I see the quotes Nancy said on Sunday, now that the Senate has left Obama has found his new change moment called “I support energy but I don’t believe in but we ought to do it maybe.”
Is it any wonder Americans have lost complete faith with DC? After all Nancy needs a reality check, she is worth millions Filthy Rich Nancy Details. Yet she is trying to save my kids? Uhhh Nancy my son needs gas to get to school. I need gas to take the other son to school. I cannot afford a “new tech” car, heck I cannot afford the trucks we have. I would love to just zap a wand and transport my kids, but so far, that hasn’t happened. I bet you anything Nancy ain’t bicycling to her winery, nope she is riding in a sedan I would bet on it.

Today it is all over the internet that Nancy privately is telling every Democrat trying to re-elected to say whatever the people want. She graciously will take the sword, what a big gesture for her. She does all of this because she is so caring of her ego, she wants more ZOMBIES in Congress. More in the SENATE, and Big surprise she wants A CHANGING EGO INFLATED President as well. How big of her, how sweet of her. If only she could control the voters, I bet you a Lincoln she thinks lobotomies would be free for all Republicans and conservatives. Sorry Nancy you cannot have my brain, I read you loud and clear. :wink: You just keep serving your brand of Koolaid to all those faithful that think you are saving them while Chavez and Ahmadinejad are laughing all the way to the bank while their people starve for the basics. Yes, you are helping the planet, the planet of Chavez and Ahmadinejad that is. The planet that tortures people robs people and laughs at America. Keep going Nancy. It is the best thing in the world for every grassroots candidate out there! Heck you are making me famous, just because you are so stupid!
Don’t back down Nancy, no don’t help those barely making ends meet, that can’t qualify for food stamps with small kids at home starving. I am sure they are very impressed you still have four and half weeks of paid vacation, I am sure that will get their cars to work, their kids fed, and them the ability to pay their bills.
Wonder how much energy it takes to cool off Nancy mansion?

Excellent post, a lot of passion and even some humor. I love it. What surprises me, especially after the last of couple of days, is that more Americans continue to ignore facts, blind themselves and drink the bitter tasting "Koolaid."
Did you see her interview with Stapho... She's not even a very good liar. She was asked a straight forward question (several times-on the vote) and clearly avoided the answer. She is as transparent as they come, and anyone who chooses to look the other way is doing himself and the rest of this nation a great disservice.
I am beginning to believe, no one out there is really a moderate. You are either liberal or conservative...plain and simple.
K, I am so upset about this topic. I typed up a response and then deleted it because I don't want to say these kinds of words in public, even on a blog. I'll just say that this is deeply disturbing to me, and this is about more than just the price of gas. This is not the way American gov't is supposed to function, and the attitudes being revealed by these actions indicate the potential for troubles far greater than being uncomfortable with the price of gas.
What most people don't seem to understand is that our state governments are lying to us about the price of gasoline.
Depending on what state you live in, your state government may make upwards of 2-3 times as much money off of every gallon of gas you purchase than the oil companies who drilled for it.
This is true in my current state of NM, and it is even worse in Ms. Pelosi's state (more than 3x). All that gas she keeps harpng about is what keeps her state narrowly from disaster.
I have written about this from the perspective of an oil field wife but have shyed away from posting it...maybe I should (I can feel my blood pressure rising as I type this!).
Great post. If you think it's bad now, then imagine what it would be like with Obama as President and a Democratic house and senate. I cringe at the thought.
I love how the dems always blame Bush for the high gas prices. Let's see...he has been in office since 2001 and the prices are have only been extremely high since 06? The dems took over majority in 06 along with Nancy so hmmmmmnnnn......

Yes every state has many taxes on top of everything else! You should write it, I mean being a Texan many people I know are oil and gas people this whole time line is so far off I want to scream. Plus the fact that you don't drill where there is no oil! Now is the time for Grassroots, get busy Wendy! You can do it!

I like Nancy. I am a bit afraid if we get a Democratic President. I don't like the idea of having a democratic house and a democatic president. It just doesn't feel like the whole check & balances thing would be working very well.
Emily right now nothing is working and the Dems are glad. With a Dem president it will be mess I really don't want to see. Debate is good, give and take is good as well. Too much power in one place brings a place to a standstill like America right now.
