When you get on a topic sometimes, it can be hard to move on. My writing of 500 words goes by fast when I am having fun.
The focus of course is my love of Crocs! I never thought I would love them, but once I tried them on, I was hooked. I first saw someone I know wearing them, she swore they were so very comfortable. She of course had many colors. I got a couple of colors. I do have my goat pair, and my nice pair. Yes, I did work goats in Crocs. My rubber boots had a hole in them, and I have yet to find my perfect pair of rubber boots. Since I am a show chicken and show goat mom, I want rubber boots with flair! If only Crocs could deliver that in a rubber boot as well. They have some colored ones but I like patterns.
I like the Cayman’s they are the basic design that you see everywhere. Our climate is moderate so I wear them all year round, granted I will buy some warmer ones some day but not today. I either wear socks or put on my Clarks if it is really cold or raining. The best thing about the rain is Crocs float. If you remember when they had those floating lounge chairs that were a lightweight material, which is what they seem like to me. A floating key bob on your feet, the lightness allows your foot to move so easily.
Here is the style I bought in Rockport at Rockapulco. The style is called Cyprus. I bought the black/black and the chocolate/cotto. Rockapulco has more styles than I had seen many places, I was happy my brother told me about it! He is like the best tourist guide you can have. Dunk, Gator and Sconicle all got the Realtree Caymans. You cannot see them, nope really you can’t. Okay maybe you can but don’t tell them that!
Crocs is from a town my family knows well Boulder Colorado. It is a very liberal town, we lived there in the sixties, I never needed drug education. However, with the liberal creative enviroment comes great ideas, I don’t know much about the owners of crocs. I only know that they were invented out of a need. The best products are the ones truly needed. Crocs provide a durable shoe with color, fun and a nonslip sole as a bonus!

I love my generic crocs at $6 a pair. I have about 7 pairs in different colors. They are great for working in the garden and I always keep a pair at the backdoor.
Deb Thanks I may try those on if I find them!
I too love Crocs and what a well written tribute to them this was. Enjoyed this post a lot.
Lilly thanks, my love for them doesn't seem to lessen with time either!
