Nancy Don't Look Back!

I don’t about anyone else but I am very angry tonight. As I go to bed with my gas at $3.85 close by, I wonder how much Nancy Pelosi pays for gas. How many cars does she own? How much energy does she waste? Owning a winery, I am sure she uses a fair share, but then again who knows. Nancy gave herself a few months off, she doesn’t seem to be worried about how to make a budget make it, Nancy has options!

Too bad the real backbone of this country doesn’t! Why couldn’t Nancy be the big communicator she claims to be and put an energy bill on the agenda? Let the Congress vote that is how Democracy works. You let the vote go, see that way those of us who drive old cars have a fighting chance of energy independence. The true measure of a person is how much they allow others to trust them, don’t count on it Nancy. I trust you no farther than I trust a crazy cow. I know that the majority of America has a low opinion of Congress. While many voters are thinking their Congressmen and Congresswomen are sitting on their hands, they are those that want to work. Uuuuhh Nancy ain’t one, she is a carefree rich woman that can fly to CA on a private plane. Problem is Nancy is holding the Congress agenda by her claws, because apparently she thinks she knows more than most voters and most of Congress.

You think I am going to let Harry Reid skate by. Oh Heck No, he is just as big a chicken as Nancy is, matter of fact I consider him a bigger chicken. He is a chicken hiding behind a chicken. He is relying on the fact that Nancy will hold her oh so liberal ways and keep the Congress doing absolutely NOTHING! So he can allow the Senate to do absolutely NOTHING! Anyone that thinks the sitting Republicans are the bad apples, take a look people this is what you get when you allow the Dems in control, absolutely NOTHING, NADA zip!

Come sometime after November Nancy and Harry will make excuses I am sure it is ALL BUSH’s FAULT, God knows every hurricane, every hangnail and every grasshopper is Bush’s doing. I am so glad Nancy and Harry have enough time to polish their image, and their stories cause the rest of the world has bills to pay. All I am asking is a vote, not a miracle people a vote on drilling in OUR LAND, OUR SHORE, OUR HOME SWEET HOME. This vote would be a start of independence, a beginning on not relying on idiotic dictators. No matter what lame excuse Harry and Nancy gives, they must trust dictators more than American voters, because they thumbed their noses and went home. I found an article that said some Republican congressional representative refused to leave the chambers, poor people that is all they can do. Sit in an empty room, wondering when or if reality will ever bite Nancy and Harry in the butt.

I am brave enough to want a vote, because I know voters make Congress and the Senate answer come November. Nancy doesn’t have to sweat it, Harry is footloose and fancy free.

Yep for all the whining and complaining, you liberals are really busy! Gosh, a hundred hours of work, that makes farm work seem so easy. Just think most of America works a full forty every week!

Stumble It!

YEAH! And that's what we've got gas at almost $4 a gallon -- nobody does a thing about the problem, even when the nation is screaming for action.

Go get 'em...

Hawg,
Thanks for commenting! It is the pits that the common man understands it so much better than anyone else!

If gas prices go down before November the Republicans will get the credit, deserved or not.

Ms. Pelosi and company are not interested in seeing that happen.

I'm not a republican, not a dem either... but I hate the way Nancy and Harry are doing things out there! I hate to say that I'm from california, and now live in nevada because of those two! This year will be the first time I've ever voted republican (besides voting Arnold into the Governors position in Cali).

That tells me what a big chicken Nancy truly is, right now there is no way for the average man to win regardless of how he votes. Apparently that doesn't bother Nancy as much as maybe she is out of touch with America.

Christine,
I really think this is not a Republican or Democrat issue, I think this is a Democracy issue. I have heard many say this type of behavior is not typical of most Californians. There was a time in my life that I was never going to vote R as well, now I can't imagine voting any other way! I promise no one will electrocute you or perform a lobotomy. You can go back anytime, but I hope you don't!

Very good post!! The democrats are so focused on not letting ANYTHING good be perceived by the American public as a credit to the Bush administration that they choose to do absolutely nothing. This is the biggest joke of a governing body (Senate and Congress included) that there has ever been in this country's history.

I just wondered what ever happened to the idea of governing for the PEOPLE. You are so right about letting the people vote on whether or not to drill in the "restricted" areas. This country belongs to all of its citizens, and those citizens should decide the direction the country takes, not a few misguided loons who bought their way into office.

Matt,
Exactly it is the people's House, the people's Senate, and the people's Whitehouse. It belongs to no one person or party! Not even Nancy and Harry, but you know that deep down They don't believe that! Don't worry it will all be Bush's fault anyway, I can call it in my sleep.

Amen to all you say. Just one more reason for term limits, it seems to me.

Excellent post! It's time to fire everyone in office and start with newbies who are in touch with mainstream Americans, no matter which party they are with! We want what's best for America and most of us couldn't care less which party is responsible for helping us. It's time for a new political agenda - bipartisanship - truly and in all its glory.

Most excellent rant there Kathy! Nothing more to add that you or I haven't already stated! Idiots!

Kathy said...

Thanks Bobo! I saw your post as well, I told you we were a lot alike!

Kathy said...

Patricia,
I do believe in term limits, but until it is a bill too many will not leave.

Sandra remember Nancy has decided not to put it on the agenda. We need to not blame innocent people, you can't vote on a bill that has not made it on the agenda. Even Dems are frustrated with her.

Another great post. I just hope that the average hard working American starts to realize how they are being made poorer by their own Congress!

Vh it is the grassroots that has to inform the masses, God knows the media won't! Thanks VH!!!
