Bob Novak is what I consider a renaissance journalist, he studies he researches and then he masterly writes articles that make you think for days about his take on things. When Tony Snow passed away I saw an interview with Bob, he said to lose such a great man was just heartbreaking to Bob because he felt the pain of the family. Now Bob will begin his own journey of readying his family for his brain tumor, and all that he as a patient must endure.
While I will truly miss his words, for Bob I truly love the fact that someone I respect so much has made his family his first priority. I have prayed today for Bob Novak and his family. I have lost two grandparents to the Beast as well as my dad. This is the messy part, this is the part of the journey that is best looked at through positive glasses with a peace that passes understanding that God has blessed us with. My hope and prayer is that his family will have some private words to read of Bob’s. If he writes this good for his column just think when he writes about his emotions.
God Bless You Bob Novak! There are prayer warriors praying for your strength, and remember many have beaten all the odds.

The two columnists I read faithfully every week are Ann Coulter and Peggy Noonan. Ann is so sharp-tongued it is hard to work up warm and fuzzy feelings toward her, but we do come to feel strangely attached to these people we've never met, just thru their words.
I heard about his tumor a couple weeks ago after his accident. I just heard about his retirement due to this being terminal while listening to Mark Levin last night. It's a shame. Nice tribute.

He is the writer I just love to read, I know many find him feisty but he just deeply knowledgeable to me. Yes Bob paints his pictures with words.

You know Bob would not have retired unless he had little time. Thanks, I haven't heard Mark in a few weeks, he is my football practice member. We spend a lot time chasing kids together, only he doesn't know it.
