Lammes Candy

Some wonderful businesses are strictly Texan. They ship anywhere but they come from Texas, they represent Texas and we as Texans are proud to have them. Lammes Candies is one of those companies. It is a 200-year-old tradition in Texas. When you want the Longhorns you can eat, call Lammes. What set Lammes apart from other candy companies in my mind are the traditions they maintain. Lammes is not a huge factory grown from a mom and pop shop. It is a Pop Shop that has kept going for generations cranking out consistently great candy at the fastest rate they can do it while still maintaining a Pop Shop feel.

Sadly, Longhorn season is over, but lucky for you Chewies (Chewy Texas Pralines) are ready to ship. Now I love the Crawly Critters (cashew oriented covered chocolates) but the summer is not the correct temperature for great chocolate to be shipped in Texas heat. Each Easter my father in law receives a box of Longhorns. He hordes those babies, refusing to even open them up in our presence. No one can blame him either they taste too darn good. There is something about having a good chocolate with pecans and caramel. Nothing better actually for a Texas loving chocoholic, consider me one.

Enough torture, I am going to share how to get you some Chewies. All you have to do is click on my title Lammes Candy. It will take you straight to the website, if you are a homesick Texan or just curious they do love phone orders. So feel free to call them up. I should say upfront I am not getting free candy, although I would not turn it down. Lammes is just a company that has treated so many customers right for so long I had to share them with my readers.
