Love of Old Things

To me something really old is more beautiful than anything brand new. Whenever I think about redoing something I think about how much I love my old sink. I don’t think I could part with it, whenever I was a dish I think how many people washed something before me. Perhaps it is a character flaw or something that harkens me back in time.

With that in mind, everytime I see a redo show I think what happens to the old stuff? Afterall one mans trash is another man’s treasure.

One day I finally saw a show using a service called Reuse. When you out of the main big areas there are conveniences that big cities have available that small towns don’t. This is true with the reuse center. Our area is rich with old houses being redone, but all the stuff is thrown out for good.

I found a place where I can drive about an hour and find a bargain maybe. I plan to go shopping next time I go that far to get feed.

HERE is the link to Habitat for Humanity Reuse Locations.

It is all over the US and other countries.
